When we started Canary our sole focus was to build a brand that did something to try to leave the world a better place for our kids. We were tired of working for companies that, candidly, were part of the problem and contributed to the waste generation and closed-loop production of products. And if there were any “sustainability” efforts made, they were either rooted in marketing strategies to appear to their consumer to be “good,” or for bottom line growth for the shareholders.
At Canary we are committed to removing plastic from the bathroom and around the house and to make quality natural products for a healthy family and home. As parents & earthlings we have decided that it is no longer acceptable to stand by & watch the trash build up around the earth and pile up into the future of our children. Our oceans are full of islands of plastic trash & less than 5% of plastic is actually recycled! We are tackling this plastic and trash problem because we felt like we could contribute to a solution via alternative options, and honestly because we see it as “low hanging fruit.” But collectively we are all facing so many more challenges, and most are more complex and in need of more funding.

By doing so, we are pledging to donate 1% of our annual sales to support environmental organizations focused on the environment.
